UP NEXT FOR THE TIGERS
This weekend's tournament signifies the end of the non-conference schedule for the Auburn volleyball team. The Tigers start SEC play next weekend at South Carolina on Friday (6 p.m. CT), followed by a match at Florida on Sunday (12:30 p.m. CT).
LAST TIME OUT
The Tigers are coming off a 3-0 sweep over Kennesaw State on Tuesday at the Student Activities Center in Auburn. Jelena Sekulic, Rachel Shanks and Whitney Jacob all finished with double-digit kills in the win.
1,000 KILLS. . . AND COUNTING
At the 14-5 mark in Auburn's win over Kennesaw State, senior Rachel Shanks picked up her second kill of the match and the 1,000th of her career. She becomes only the 10th player in Auburn's history to pull off the feat and still has the rest of the season to build on it. Currently, she is tied for ninth all-time at Auburn in career kills with 1,008. Shanks is also nearing the 1,000 mark in career digs as she currently has 899. If she reaches the 1,000 digs mark, she will become only the fourth Tiger ever to make both lists.
