Auburn, Ala. - The No. 33 Auburn women's tennis team (12-5, 3-3 SEC) will host the No. 73 Marshall Thundering Herd on Wednesday, March 26, at 2 p.m., at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.

The Tigers meet with the Herd for the first time in program history. Auburn looks to extend its non-conference win-streak to five. Auburn is 9-2 when facing off to non-conference opponents in 2008. Auburn is 10-1 when facing a lower-ranked opponent.

The Tigers will look to sophomore Fani Chifchieva to extend her singles win-streak. Chifchieva has not lost a match since Jan. 26. She is 15-1 this season and 6-0 in conference play.

Auburn will also look to its number one doubles duo, Alex Haney and Melissa Koning. The pair defeated Kentucky's Megan Broderick and Carolina Escamilla on Sunday, 8-2.
