Auburn, Ala. - The Auburn softball team will travel to Oxford for its first Southeastern Conference road series of the season with a three-game set against the Ole Miss Rebels beginning Saturday.

Auburn (22-4, 2-1 SEC) will play the Rebels (14-9, 0-3 SEC) in a double-header Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday's series finale is also slated for a 1 p.m. first pitch. The games can be heard in Auburn on WZMG 910 AM. Fans can view live stats via Gametracker by going to www.auburntigers.com.

"We are looking forward to going on the road in SEC play," Auburn head coach Tina Deese said. "Playing in this league is never easy, but it's especially a challenge when you are playing on the other team's field."

The Tigers are coming off a series win against 15th-ranked Mississippi State. Auburn lost the first game of the series 8-3, but rallied to win game two 5-4 in nine innings and then run-ruled the Bulldogs 8-0 in five innings in the finale.

The Auburn offense flexed its muscle in the Mississippi State series as the Tigers posted a .310 team batting average and smacked four home runs. Freshman Kyndall White connected for her first home run in dramatic fashion, hitting a walk-off shot to left to win game two in the bottom of the ninth.

Auburn enters the weekend with a 24-13 series edge over the Rebels, but the Tigers have lost four of the last five meetings.
