Auburn Soccer Team To Play Six Spring Exhibition Matches

AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn soccer team has put together what will be a challenging spring schedule as it will play six exhibition matches beginning March 1. Auburn will face five collegiate teams that advanced to the 2007 NCAA Soccer Championship as well as the Atlanta Silverbacks, a team from the W-League. Auburn will open up its spring schedule in Auburn when 2007 NCAA runner-up Florida State comes to Auburn for a 2pm match on Saturday, March 1. The following week, Clemson comes to Auburn for a 5pm match on March 8. Auburn will close out the month with a double-header in Decatur, facing Memphis at noon and Samford at 5pm. Auburn will play a pair of exhibitions in April, traveling to SEC-rival Tennessee on Sunday, Apr. 6, before closing out the spring season in Auburn against the Atlanta Silverbacks on Saturday, Apr. 12 at 1pm.
