Atlanta, Ga. - The American Junior Golf Association selected 40 of the nation's best junior golfers that will compete for the 18th annual Canon Cup held at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tenn., July 30-August 2. Auburn freshman Cydney Clanton (Concord, N.C.) will be on the 10-member East girl's team.

The Canon Cup pits East vs. West in a team match play format. The first two days include foursome and four-ball matches with the final day reserved for singles matches. Each team consists of 10 boys and 10 girls with rosters based on current Polo Golf Rankings. Clanton is currently ranked No. 17.

The Honors Course will play host to the Canon Cup for the second time as it hosted the event in 1995 when the East defeated the West, 27-23.
