Bonner and Team USA Move To 3-0 With 124-38 Win Over Mexico

Mexico City - With a nine-point performance, Auburn sophomore DeWanna Bonner helped lead USA Basketball's U20 team to a 124-38 victory over Mexico in the third game of the FIBA Americas U20 Championship for Women.

Bonner added four assists on the day and shot 3-of-5 from the field. Marscilla Packer again led the team with 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting.

As a team, they shot 43-of-68 for a 63.2 percentage from the field, Team USA's best of the tournament. Mexico shot just 13-of-39 for a 33.3 field goal percentage.

Bonner and team USA will take on Bahamas Friday at 2 p.m. CT and will wrap up play at the tournament Saturday at 4 p.m. vs. Brazil. The top three finishing teams in the round robin tournament will earn a bid to the 2007 FIBA U21 Women's World Championship.
