Day one of our trip to California was a pretty long day. We started off with a bus ride to Columbus at 8:30 a.m., which wasn't bad. The bad part was the five hour flight to California. That flight seemed like it was never going to end, but a movie and a little nap helped it go by much faster. After the flight everybody was a little tired but that didn't matter because we had to go straight to practice. We had had to put aside how tired we were because we are here to play ball. We ended up having a good practice. After practice we went to dinner and ended up eating at California Pizza Kitchen, which was pretty good. By the time we were finished with dinner everyone was exhausted. We loaded the bus and went back to the hotel and I went to sleep immediately. It was 9 p.m. here, but 11 p.m. in Alabama. It was a pretty long day and I was glad it finally ended. I am excited about the next few days and looking forward to seeing where we play tomorrow.
