TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - DeWanna Bonner scored 27 points and Sherell Hobbs added 17 to help No. 25 Auburn beat Alabama 62-48 on Sunday.

Bonner was 9-for-17 from the field and added seven rebounds for Auburn (14-6, 2-3 Southeastern Conference), which held a 27-24 lead at the break before going on 16-2 run after the half to take control of the game.

Camilla Blands scored 13 points to lead Alabama (8-12, 1-4).

Freshman Katie Hancock made her debut after coming off ACL surgery just 12 weeks ago. She had six points and two assists while playing 22 minutes.
