Tallahassee, Fla. - The No. 12 Auburn men's golf team carded a 1-under 287 and is tied for second after the second round of the Seminole Intercollegiate at the par-72, 7,041-yard Golden Eagle Country Club Sunday.

Senior Jay Moseley (68-139) is currently in fourth followed by senior Jamie Bowen (73-144) tied for 11th, senior Steven Groover (72-145) tied for 17th, sophomore Cole Moreland (74-146) tied for 20th and junior Glenn Northcutt (75-147) tied for 24th.

"We let some strokes get away from us down the stretch," said head coach Mike Griffin. "To win you've got to make those birdie puts.

"The wind is really starting to come on strong. Jaime had a three foot put on one of these greens on the lake and had to back off a few times the wind was so strong."

Tournament officials made the decision to play the remaining two rounds of competition Monday to avoid inclement weather Tuesday.

The top-5 includes Virginia (286-572) followed by No. 12 Auburn (287-573), No. 11 Florida State (288-573), North Carolina (286-576) and Ole Miss (293-578).

Virginia's Steven Rojas (70-138) and North Carolina's Kevin O'Connell (66-138) are tied for the lead..
