AUBURN - The Auburn football team wrapped up preparation for Saturday's Southeastern Conference game against No. 13 Georgia with an hour long workout at the practice fields behind the Athletics Complex.

The Tigers opened practice with an extended focus on special teams before the offense and defense began work against the scout teams. Practice concluded with field goals.

Following practice, head coach Tommy Tuberville said that the team is focused and ready for Saturday's showdown.

"Today we actually pulled back a little bit on our contact, it was more of a walk through, to try and get all of our stuff in," Tuberville said. "We worked a little bit more on our kicking game today. We had good enthusiasm and our intensity was good. We're ready to play."

Auburn (5-5, 2-4 SEC) and Georgia (8-2, 5-2 SEC) will meet Saturday at 11:30 a.m. CT in Jordan-Hare Stadium. The game will be televised by Raycom.

Auburn leads the all-time series with Georgia, 53-50-8, but the Bulldogs have won the last two games in the series. The Tigers are just 9-13-2 against Georgia in Jordan-Hare Stadium, but did win games in 2000 and 2004. The teams will be meeting for the 112th time in the seventh-most played football rivalry in the Football Bowl Subdivision.
