AUBURN - The Auburn football team worked out in its second of three two-a-days Thursday under warm temperatures and blue skies at the Intramural Fields.

The team practiced for approximately two hours in the morning in full pads, focusing on individual drill work before coming together as a team. The Tigers then spent an hour and a half in the late afternoon in shells, spending time on special teams and individual unit drills under the setting sun.

The team's kickers went 3-for-3 in the afternoon workout from approximately 50 yards, with the second of three hitting the crossbar and bouncing over.

"It was a good, energetic day for a two-a-days practice," Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville said. "We went a little later tonight because of the heat. We had a good practice this morning.

"We put our two-minute offense in today as well as goal line and short yardage. We still have a few things to put in, but other than that, everything is pretty much on track."

The individual practices marked the ninth and 10th of the fall for the Tigers, who are scheduled to work out again Friday through Tuesday. Friday's practice is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. CT., at the Intramural Fields. The workout is open to the public.
