The Auburn football team returned to the practice fields Friday afternoon after taking Thursday off and worked in shells for two hours. The team spent the majority of practice working in position groups, with only a small portion dedicated to team drills.

The practice was the Tigers' last before Saturday's A-Day game. After the workout, head coach Tommy Tuberville spoke regarding his expectations for the annual spring scrimmage.

"We need to have a good scrimmage tomorrow," Tuberville said. "Most of what we did today was getting ready for tomorrow. We hope the offense improves from what we did the first couple of scrimmages. We are going to do a lot of things defensively, but hopefully tomorrow we will have a little more consistency on offense.

The A-Day game will kick off at 1 p.m. at Pat Dye Field at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Tickets are $5 and will be available for purchase at the west will-call booth on the west side of the stadium and at the southeast ticket booth on the east side of the stadium. Auburn students will be admitted free of charge with a student I.D.

Gates will open at 11 a.m. on both sides of the stadium. On the west side, Gates 12, 13, 14 and 15 will be open, while Gates 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be open on the east side. The lower bowl will available for general admission seating with the exception of sections 37-44 in the north end zone. The upper deck will also be closed.

The game will consist of four 12-minute quarters. The first-team offense will score for the blue team, while the second-team offense will score for the white team.

The game will air live on Comcast Sports Southeast and on WKKR 97.7 FM beginning at 1 p.m.
