TEAM NOTES

·         Auburn now leads the all-time series with Arkansas 10-7-1, including a 4-3-1 mark in Auburn.

·         Auburn is now 9-2 since the 2004 season in its first game following a loss.

·         Auburn is now 68-9 when scoring 20 or more points under Tommy Tuberville, including a 65-6 mark in the regular season.

·         Arkansas scored first with a field goal in the first quarter. It was just the second time this season that Auburn did not score first (LSU).

·         Auburn outscored Arkansas 7-3 in the first quarter. The Tigers have now outscored their opponents 41-6 in the first quarter this season.

·         Auburn led 13-10 at halftime. Auburn is now 4-3 this season when leading at halftime.

·         Auburn led 20-16 after three quarters. Auburn is now 4-1 this season when leading after three quarters.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

·         Tristan Davis had 182 kickoff return yards, moving up three spots into third place on Auburn’s all-time kickoff return yardage list. Davis now has 1,111 career kickoff return yards. He also moved up to second all-time at Auburn in average kickoff return yardage with 25.84 yards per outing – four one-hundredths a yard per return behind all-time leader Rick Neel.

·         Davis’ 97-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the first quarter was the first kickoff return for a touchdown by Auburn since Brad Lester returned a kick 93 yards for a score against Ball State in 2005.

·         Davis’ 97-yard return was the sixth-longest in Auburn history and the longest since Tim Carter returned a kick 100 yards vs. LSU in 2000.

·         Neiko Thorpe intercepted his first career pass in the second quarter, and returned it 59 yards for the longest interception return of the season for Auburn.

·         Wes Byrum made field goals from 45 and 36 yards in the second quarter, giving him seven field goals this season and 24 for his career.

·         Josh Bynes had his first career interception late in the second quarter and returned it 31 yards.

·         Chris Evans’ fumble recovery on the opening kickoff of the second half was the first fumble recovery of his career.

·         Kodi Burns’ 3-yard touchdown rush in the third quarter was his second rushing touchdown of the season and the fifth of his career.

·         Derek Winter had his first career reception in the third quarter, finishing the game with two for 18 yards.

·         Sen’Derrick Marks blocked an extra point in the third quarter. It was his fourth career blocked kick.

·         Tommy Trott’s 33-yard reception in the fourth quarter was the longest reception of his career.
