Baseball Winding Down Fall Practice, Will Hold Fall World Series Oct. 24-26

AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn baseball team is putting the finishing touches on its fall team practice schedule and will conclude the workouts with the Fall World Series next weekend, Friday, Oct. 24 through Sunday, Oct. 26. Game times for the Fall World Series will be 6pm on Friday and noon on Saturday and Sunday, with all scrimmages free and open to the public. "We have done some good work this fall," Auburn Head Coach John Pawlowski said. "I want to encourage the fans to come out and see the team compete against each other in what should be a fun and competitive series." Prior to the Fall World Series the coaches will hold a team draft on Tuesday, Oct. 21st and the team rosters will be posted on Auburn's website, www.auburntigers.com, following the draft. This coming weekend the team will also hold scrimmages that are open to the public. Saturday's will be proceeded by the Auburn Baseball Lettermen and Associates Club Alumni Game, which is set to start at noon. The Alumni Game is part of the Lettermen's Club and Associates reunion weekend, which also includes golf on Friday at the Auburn University Club at Yarborough Farms and a dinner honoring the 1976 and 1994 College World Series teams.
