FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Auburn baseball team concluded its regular season schedule on Sunday with a 15-3 loss to No. 12 Arkansas before 7,118 fans at Baum Stadium.  The rubber game victory improved the Razorbacks record to 37-19 and 19-11 in the SEC.  Auburn fell to 32-24 and 12-18.

The win ensured Arkansas at least a tie for the SEC West and overall title.

Arkansas led 2-1 in the fourth and broke the game scoring 13 unanswered runs over the next four innings.

"We thought if we could hang around we'd have a chance," Tigers' head coach Steve Renfroe said. "The four spots have hurt us this year and did again today. Once Arkansas got rolling, we couldn't stop them.  They're a real good ball club."

Jay Sawatski (9-3), who won Friday's contest out of the bullpen, picked up his second win of the series after holding Auburn to a run on five hits in six innings of work in a starting role.

Auburn starter Mike Felix (4-5) took the loss after giving up a run on three walks while facing four batters in the first. Josh Bell tossed three innings in relief of Felix, allowing five runs, four unearned.

The Razorbacks scored single runs in the first and third innings before Auburn cut the deficit to 2-1 in the fourth on Josh Bell's two-out single scoring Clete Thomas.

Arkansas batted around in the fourth, scoring four times to take a 6-1 advantage.  Pinch hitter Brett Hagedorn had a two-run double and Stephen Robinson followed with a two-run homer down the left-field line.

The Razorbacks concluded their scoring with four runs in the sixth and five in the seventh.  Four consecutive batters tallied base hits, including three doubles in the Arkansas sixth.  Haas Pratt had a two-run double in the sixth and Scott Bridges drove home two with a double in the seventh.

Auburn scored runs in the eighth and ninth for the final margin. Ben Sprague had a two-out double to left-center scoring Tug Hulett in the eighth and Mike Hnytka drove home Josh Bell with a single in the ninth.

Arkansas out-hit Auburn 16-10 and was led by Casey Rowlett's four-hit game.  Jake Dugger scored four times and Haas Pratt added three RBI.

Ben Sprague and Chuck Jeroloman had two hits each for Auburn.
