TOP OF THE EIGHTH:
It is 5-2 Ole Miss after a disasterous seventh inning for Auburn. Greinke was charged with five runs on the afternoon but it was Evan Crawford that balked in a run, walked a batter and allowed a run-scoring single without retiring an out. This is most likely the last update of the day, check back later for the complete recap.
TOP OF THE SIXTH:
It is 2-1 Auburn as Matt Smith hit a leadoff homer in the fifth to break up Luke Greinke's no-hitter and shutout. Greinke had retired 11 in a row after issuing a walk to the second batter he faced.
END OF THE SECOND:
2-0 Auburn after Joseph Sanders' first-inning, two-run home run to right on a windy day here at Swayze Field. Luke Greinke surrendered a walk to the second hitter he faced but has sat down five in a row since.
