Tigers To Play Host To No. 2 Kentucky This Weekend

The Auburn baseball team will look to build upon the momentum is created with Tuesday's thrilling, 6-4, come-from-behind victory over Troy as it plays host to No. 2 Kentucky (18-0, 3-0 SEC) this weekend at Plainsman Park. Auburn's (12-8, 0-3 SEC) pitching rotation for the weekend will be R-Fr. LHP Grant Dayton (1-1, 3.60) on Friday, Fr. LHP Cory Luckie (2-2, 2.05) on Saturday and Jr. RHP Luke Greinke (2-1, 3.33) on Sunday. Kentucky, which plays Xavier on Thursday afternoon before heading to Auburn, is scheduled to start Jr. LHP Chris Rusin (3-0, 2.64), Jr. RHP Scott Green (2-0, 1.64) and Sr. RHP Greg Dombrowski (4-0, 1.27) in that order. All three games are Faculty/Staff Weekend where Auburn University faculty and staff may show their university I.D. and receive half-price admission for up to four people per I.D. Following Saturday's 3pm game, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt on the Tiger Terrace. The first 500 people through the gates for Sunday's 2pm contest will receive the first set in the 2008 trading card set. It is also Family Day where fans can purchase four tickets, four hot dogs and four drinks for $40 and kids run the bases after the game.
