AUBURN, Ala. - With the start of the 2008 baseball season less than two weeks away, here are some tidbits from the Plainsman Park.

Hunter Morris Named A Top Freshman By Rivals
Freshman infielder Hunter Morris was listed in the `Impact Freshmen: The Rivals 10' highlighting the top freshmen in college baseball in the 2008 season. Rivals says, "the Tigers look forward to having Hunter Morris in their lineup. Morris was a second-round selection of Boston in last June's MLB Draft. Despite his draft status, Morris decided to attend college. As a senior in high school, he batted .476 with 13 homers and 44 RBIs. Morris is a great addition for an Auburn team hoping to make a statement."

Sunday, Feb. 24 Game Against East Tennessee State Changed To A 3 PM First Pitch
The Auburn-East Tennessee State game on Sunday, Feb. 24, has been moved back an hour to a 3pm CT first pitch in order to let fans attend the Auburn-Alabama basketball game at 1pm that afternoon in Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum.

Fans presenting a ticket stub from the men's basketball game will receive a free general admission ticket to the baseball game on Sunday. The general admission ticket will be good for seating in Sections 110-111 and the Tiger Terrace.

Auburn and East Tennessee State play a four-game baseball series to begin the 2008 season with games Friday, February 22 through Monday, February 25 with all games scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. CT. at Plainsman Park.

Baseball Team To Offer Free Youth Clinic On Wednesday, March 19
The Auburn baseball team and its coaches will hold a free clinic for those 7 years old up to 8th-grade students on Wednesday, March 19 at the lower fields at Duck Samford Stadium in Auburn. The clinic will run from 10am-noon with a 30 minute autograph session to follow. Those wishing to attend should arrive at the fields at 9:30 the morning of the clinic to register (there is no pre-registration for the clinic). The clinic will be held weather permitting.

Sunday, March 16th Game At Florida To Air on Sun Sports/FSN
The University of Florida has announced that the Sunday, March 16th game between UF and Auburn in Gainesville will air on Sun Sports/FSN. First pitch remains set for 1 pm ET.
