AUBURN, Ala. - Sunday's baseball game set for 1 p.m. CT between Auburn and Florida State at AU's Plainsman Park has been canceled due to the low temperatures in the Auburn area.

"Coach Martin and I have mutually agreed it is in the best interest of our players to not play in today's cold conditions," AU Head Coach Tom Slater said. "We do not want to risk injury this early in the season with the low temperatures and a wind chill at the freezing mark."

The Tigers and Seminoles split the first two games of the series with AU winning 5-2 on Friday night and FSU taking Saturday's contest 8-3.

Tickets purchased for Sunday's game will be accepted at any other regular season non-conference game this season.

Auburn returns to the diamond on Friday, Feb. 17, against Hofstra at 4 p.m. CT at Plainsman Park.
