AUBURN - For the third-straight year, members of the Auburn men's basketball team, Coach Jeff Lebo and the coaching staff will participate in the two-mile Breast Cancer Awareness "Race With A Mission" run for the East Alabama Medical Center's Foundation for Breast Cancer Early Detection Saturday.

The race begins at 7:30 am Saturday at the intersection of Moore's Mill Road and Ogletree Road and the entry fee is $16. Lucas Hargrove won last year's race and also recorded the team's best time for the second-straight year.

"Our team and I really enjoy running in this event each year and it is for such a great cause," said Lebo. "I would like to encourage as many people as possible to participate."

Auburn opens preseason practice Oct. 17 and plays its only exhibition game Nov. 7 vs. Morehouse College. The Tigers open the season at home against Missouri State Nov. 14.
