Auburn Women Place 36th at Pre-Nationals

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Auburn women's cross country team finished 36th in the White Race with 926 points at the Pre-Nationals Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. North Carolina State took first in the 6K race with 117 points and the Wolfpack's Julia Lucas took the individual title with a time of 20:02. Freshman Sabrina Fischer led the way for the Tigers, finishing 120th. Freshmen Miriam Arusei and Laurel Pritchard placed 139th and 211th, respectively, while juniors Jessica Smith, Becca Bell and Megan Karl finished 227th, 229th and 233rd, respectively. Freshman Katelyn Simpson took 239th. Auburn will next be in action at the SEC Championships on Saturday, October 28 in Baton Rouge, La.
