Athens, Greece - The Tigers had two standout sprinters compete in the opening round of the men's 4x100 relay in Athens Friday evening in front of a capacity crowd at Olympic Stadium.

Two-time Olympian Miller ran the third leg for the United States team that clocked the fastest qualifying time of the day - 38.02.  Miller's team included 200m gold medallist Shawn Crawford, Darvis Patton and 100m bronze medallist Maurice Green.  The team will enter the finals as the favorite to take home the gold medal on Saturday at 1:45 p.m. CT.

Also securing a spot in the final tomorrow was the Trinidad & Tobago team of Niconnor Alexander, Burns, Ato Boldon and Darrel Brown.  Running a new national record time of 38.53, the team finished fourth in their heat.  The top three teams in both heats and the next two fastest times received automatic qualifiers to the final.
