Competed in the 2009 U.S. Senior National Championships in the 100m back, 200m back and 200m IM ... Reached the semifinals of the 200m back and went on to finish ninth in 2:12.58 ... Finished 38th in the 100m back (1:03.85) and 52nd in the 200m IM (2:19.99) ... At the 2009 NCAA Championships, Meissner competed in 100 back, 200 back and 200 IM ... Swam to an 18th-place finish in the 200 back in 1:54.59 ... Took 36th overall in the 100 back in personal-best time of 53.77 that ranks 10th all-time at Auburn ... Finished in 45th-place in the 200 IM in career-best time of 2:00.47 ... Also at the Trials, Meissner placed 15th in the 100m back (1:02.58) and 36th in the 400m IM (4:52.32)... At the NCAA Championships, Meissner earned All-America honors in the 200 back where she placed eighth in a time of 1:55.92... Also at NCAAs, Meissner placed 48th in the 100 fly (54.85) and 26th in the 100 back (54.81)... At the SEC Championships, Meissner qualified for the "A" finals in the 200 back where she placed sixth in a time of 1:56.07... Also qualified in the "B" finals of the 400 IM (4:15.58) and 200 fly (2:02.57) where she placed 10th and 13th, respectively.
High School
Attended Gardner High School and swam on the Greenwood Memorial Swim Club team... Was a six-time individual state champion and record holder in the 100 back, 100 fly and 200 IM... Part of a team that has won 14 straight state championships... Is a 2008 Olympic Trials qualifier after being a Trials finalist in 2004... Is the 2004 U.S. Open Champion in the 200 back...
