Richard Long begins his second season with the Auburn swimming and diving team after spending last year as a volunteer assistant coach. As the team's videographer, he focuses on gathering underwater and above water video of meets and taking footage of the swimmers in practice to pass along to the coaching staff for stroke analysis. Long is using Darkfish for the stroke analysis and plans to launch a Webcast over the Internet to allow swimmers to access footage at their convenience. Long completed his bachelor of science degree from Auburn University in exercise science after spending two years on the swimming and diving team, earning three All-America honors (200 FR, 400 FR, 800 FR). Long, a native of Hampton, Va., is resides in Auburn and is married to the former Erin Hebert. Erin played field hockey at Radford University. |
