Competed in the 100m breast and 200m breast at the 2008 United States Olympic Trials... Placed 17th in the 200m breast (2:15.94) and 39th in the 100m breast (1:03.44)... At the NCAA Championships at Federal Way, Wash., Klein earned honorable mention All-America honors in the 200 breast where he swam to a 15th-place finish, posting a time of 1:58.17...
