Freshman Season (2007-08)
Competed at the 2008 United States Olympic Trials... Swam to a 98th-place finish in the 100m free (58.44) and a 101st-place finish in the 200m free (2:06.60)... At the NCAA Championships, Geary earned an All-America honor in the 400 free relay, swimming the third leg inthe preliminary with a 49.87 split... Individually, Geary competed in the 500 free, 200 free and 100 free... Swam to a 45th-place finish in the 500 free (4:50.54), a 59th place finish in the 200 free (1:48.97) and a 54th place finish in the 100 free (50.14)... At the SEC Championships, Geary swam the second leg (1:43.85) on the SEC Champion 800 freestyle relay that set a new American record... Individually at SEC's, she placed sixth in the 200 free (1:45.37), 10th in the 100 free (49.60) and 16th in the 500 free (4:49.91)... She was named SEC Female Freshmen of the Week twice during the season - first during the week of Dec. 4 for her swims at the Alabama Longcourse Invitational, and then for her performance against Florida... At the Alabama Longcourse Invitational, Geary swam to three all-time swims at Auburn... She ranks fifth in the 200 free (1:44.85), sixth in the 1650 free (16:13.41) and ninth in the 500 free (4:44.69).
