Earned a spot in the semi-finals of the 200 IM at Olympic Trials (2:05.79) ... Made his first NCAA team ... Just missed All-America honors in the 200 IM, placing 17th (1:59.41) ... Also swam in both the 100 breast (1:01.26) and the 200 fly (1:59.58) at NCAAs ... Swam to a sixth-place finish in the 200 fly at SECs, clocking a 1:46.74 in prelims and a 1:47.41 in finals ... Also had a top-eight finish in the 100 breast with a time of 55.58 ... Won the SEC consolation finals of the 200 IM with a time of 1:46.71.
Freshman Season (2002-03)
