Mary is in her fourth year as an assistant athletic trainer working with the women's basketball team. In addition to her ATC credentials Mary is also a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) via the Montgomery School of Bodywork & Massage. A native of Orange County, CA, Stanbra earned her Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of San Diego in San Diego, California. She received her Master's Degree in Health Education and Human Performance with an emphasis in Sports Medicine from Michigan State University. Her professional experience includes working as a staff athletic trainer with the MedSport Sports Medicine Clinic at the University of Michigan; Associate Head Athletic Trainer at Regis University; staff athletic trainer with Olin Health Center Physical Therapy at Michigan State University, and the Greater Lansing Rehab Clinic serving as Head Athletic Trainer at Williamson High School. She is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, Southeastern Athletic Training Association, Alabama Athletic Trainers Association, and the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. Mary currently resides in Auburn. |
