Jarod is in his seventh year as a member of the Auburn University sports medicine staff. A nationally certified and state licensed athletic trainer, he is responsible for the prevention and care of injuries for the Tigers' men's basketball program. He has secondary responsibilities of Men's Golf, the Coliseum Olympic Sports, and Auburn University Summer Camps. Grace earned a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science with an emphasis in athletic training from Auburn University in 1999. Grace received a Masters of Science degree in Physical Education from the University of South Carolina in 2002. After graduate school the Albertville, AL native served as an intern athletic trainer at Disney's Wide World of Sports in 2000 before accepting a position at the University of South Carolina. While there he served as interim athletic trainer with the men's basketball until he accepted his current position. Upon his return to Auburn, Grace worked as assistant athletic trainer with Women's Basketball starting in 2002. He became the assistant athletic trainer for Men's Basketball in the fall of 2004. Grace is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, the Southeastern Athletic Trainers' Association, and the Alabama Athletic Trainers' Association. Grace is married to the former Becca Cunningham ('01) of Albertville, AL. They have one child, Mary Alderson born in April of 2007. |
